The Festive Mobile Earrings were inspired by the artist looking at her hanging mobiles and their colorful reflections. She wanted to make something that resembled the colorful and unique quality that the mobiles have but make them wearable! They are made with a variety of specialty acrylics and plated-gold earring hooks. She hopes that these dance on your ears and that they make you feel super fun.

Paulina Otero is a Mexican fiber artist and jewelry designer creating tactile, abstract pieces inspired by her childhood in Mexico. Using yarn, wood, felt, and plexiglass, her work blends industrial and domestic materials to evoke nostalgia through color, form, and texture. She’s based in Kansas City and CancΓΊn, with work shown in museums and shops across the U.S.
